About Event

The veil between worlds is thinner than we think.

Welcome to Season 2 of MOSAIC, where we continue weaving together culture, psychedelics, and community—one gathering at a time.

S2E1 ventures into the realm of Spirituality, Mysticism, and Magic. Are psychedelics a bridge to the divine or a mirror of the mind? Do rituals create magic, or do they simply reveal what was always there? How do mystical encounters shape our sense of self, society, and the unseen forces that move us?

This evening will unfold in three acts:

  • A provocative live performance to stir the senses

  • A compelling conversation featuring thinkers, mystics, and explorers of the unknown

  • An open social space where curiosity leads and ideas take unexpected turns

If you’re drawn to the edges of experience—where the rational meets the unknown—you already belong here. Come curious. Leave changed.

Panelists:

Brigitte (aka BsTaRLOVE) is the founder of Medicine House of Canada, a sanctuary for psychonautic explorers seeking to deepen their connection to consciousness through ritual, ceremony, and entheogenic experiences. As a Neo-Shaman and initiator of transformative spaces, she weaves ancient rites with contemporary insights, bridging the mystical and the modern. Through Medicine House Meetup, she leads a growing community of over 7,000 members and 33 event organizers, while MedicineHouse.ca offers ceremonial work, 1-on-1 sessions, and group experiences with dedicated practitioners.

al colibrí (he/they), also known as Jordan Loewen-Colón (PhD), is a Taíno scholar, poet, and AI ethics professor at Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business. His poetry explores nature, love, grief, mysticism, and ancestral healing, reflecting his deep engagement with intergenerational wisdom. A former ordained minister trained at Princeton Theological Seminary, he studied mysticism, philosophy, and technology at Syracuse University before finding his way to psychedelic medicine later in life. His research now focuses on integrating Indigenous ways of knowing into emerging technological and cultural consciousness, while his philosophical work examines how technology shapes emotions, perception, and reality itself.

Ben Kahan is a magician, mentalist, and hypnotist who merges traditional magic techniques with modern concepts. With over 20 years of experience, Ben has created acts for Britain’s Got Talent performers and consulted on magic for Hollywood productions, West End theatre, and UK television. From exploring the links between psychology and magic in a series of shows in London Bridge, to pioneering AI-based illusions for Canadian television, Ben challenges conventional performance. He is recognized as an Associate of the Inner Magic Circle (AIMC), reflecting his commitment to advancing the art of magic in fresh and innovative ways.

Artists

Acid Trip is an intergalactic folk duo comprised of the ethereal flute of Anh Phung and the eccentric fiddle of previous MOSAIC guest Jaron Freeman-Fox. Imagine if Frank Zappa wrote folk and bluegrass. Anh takes the flute to space as she continually dives deep into the capabilities of the instrument. Not bothered by the conventions and standard limitations of the flute, her powerful musical voice steers her through everything from hip-hop to bluegrass to Bulgarian folk music, and she is the leader of prog-rock tribute band Tullstars, performance art act Hairbrain, and psych-folk duo Acid trip. She is known for her unique sound that has been featured on numerous records and performances of all sorts of musical genres.
