Humanitec Hands-on Lab

​​Internal Developer Platforms using a Platform Orchestrator allow to drive an unparalleled degree of standardisation, paired with a consistent developer experience. Using a reference architecture for modern IDPs, we will set up version 1 of a Maersk platform together. We will learn the integration points, customisation options and focus on prioritising DevEx.

​By the end of the session you will have a complete overview of the day-to-day life as both a platform team member and developer, using the orchestrator to let teams move quickly while standardising by design and keeping a great security & compliance posture.

• ​​Gain a deep understanding of Humanitec’s reference architectures

• ​Define workloads with Score.dev

• ​Learn how to manage workloads across clouds with a common DevEx

• ​Create reusable golden paths for resources such as Databases and Blob Storage

  • ​Learn how to integrate terraform into the platform

  • ​Understand how to migrate existing production infrastructure into Humanitec

• ​Understand the concept of golden paths and their role in making security transparent for developers.
