Bootstrapping is Not a Survival Strategy

Bootstrapping, where small businesses grow using only their own resources and money instead of borrowing or seeking outside investment, is often seen as a last resort for founders. But bootstrapping is much more than just scraping by. In the first event of the Regenerative Capital Room series, you'll learn how bootstrapping can be a powerful strategy for building a profitable, resilient business from day one. Learn from a successful founder who has successfully leveraged their own resources for long-lasting positive growth, and discover how to keep full control of your business. You will bring a challenge you face connected to bootstrapping, discussing it with experts and peers after the expert talk, and walk away with tangible advice on your next steps. This event is aimed to create hands-on advice on how to access capital while safeguarding your impact mission as a founder,, and connect you with the entrepreneurship community for mutual learning.

What to expect

  • Expert Session with Melle Schellekens (co-founder of The Good Roll), who successfully grew The Good Roll through bootstrapping.

  • Lunch & Learn - Enjoy food from A Beautiful Mess while solving your business challenge together with experts and peers.
