“Ecology, theory and practice of regenerative food and livelihoods”
Lecture by ecological landscaping entrepreneur and permaculture designer Joel Tefke
Hosted by Aalto Foodsharing
Wednesday, April 9th on 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Juniper Room (B122), Design Factory (Puumiehenkuja 5)
The lecture is about understanding global and local ecology, theory and practice of food systems now and in the future and how we can take steps in a regenerative path.
Joel Tefke is an ecological landscaper and has been running a company specialising in ecological landscape planning, construction and maintenance for 6 years now. He started out through working in the urban environment but is now taking my steps towards regenerative agriculture. Rooted deeply in permaculture for ten years, he has been studying ecological practices in urban environment, agricultural practices and forestry. To continue our path on this planet we must integrate our systems with the ecosystems and the natural world, for the benefit of all.
