​The rumors are true: Ink & Switch is hosting a second unconference after LIVE and PLF in Lisboa on Wednesday, October 25th, 2023.

​Building on last year's gathering in Berlin, we are gathering another eclectic mix of folks across the engineering and research worlds to discuss our mutual interests.

​We're looking forward to discussing concurrency models in distributed systems, the finer points of rendering digital ink, user experience innovations in local-first software, new paradigms for create programming, and so on.

​After days of sitting and listening to one person talk at a time, this will be our chance to have structured discussions peer-to-peer about the ideas that animate us.

​We will spend the day at the Penha Longa resort, 10km from the SPLASH conference site. Lunch, coffee, and after-session beer & wine will be provided.

​Transportation to and from a location in Cascais will be provided. Details to follow.

​We will start at 10AM, for a short welcome session and to collaboratively plan the day. From there we'll run a few sessions concurrently throughout the day (with breaks for lunch and coffee).

​We will end the session around 6PM and then invite you all to stay for some before-dinner beer & wine to relax after a long day of conversation.

​We ask everyone to think about possible topics for discussion. What are you excited about? What problems are keeping you up at night? Are there papers you're looking for a coauthor for?
