About Event

How can investors support reproductive freedom and health in America today? Join us for an intimate investor luncheon and expert-driven conversation on this topic on Wednesday, March 5th, at Del Frisco’s Grille, located in Cherry Creek, Denver.

Hosted by Veris Wealth Partners and Gratitude Railroad, this event will bring together values-driven investors to explore some of the most impactful ways investors can support women’s access to high quality reproductive health in today’s rapidly shifting policy environment in America. Panelists will share ideas, investment opportunities, and engagement strategies and answer your questions.

Ruth Shaber

Ruth Shaber, MD founded and serves as President of the Tara Health Foundation, which uses its philanthropic capital to advance health and economic outcomes for women. She is the co-author of The XX Edge: Unlocking Higher Returns and Lower Risk and is now leading the Diverse Investing Collective, with the goal of increasing the numbers of women and people of color in the U.S. investment industry and the amount of assets they manage. Ruth is also the co-founder and board chair of Rhia Ventures, a group of foundations and investors that collaborate to bring new types of capital and enterprise to the field of reproductive health in the United States. Ruth had a robust career as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist with a focus on systems change at Kaiser Permanente from 1990 to 2012. 

Rebekah Saul Butler

Rebekah Saul Butler is Managing Partner at Gratitude Railroad, an investor community-driven impact investment firm, where she serves as Co-CEO and jointly oversees all aspects of the growing business including investments, business strategy and development, and finance and operations. 

Prior to joining Gratitude, Rebekah was Co-Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer of The Grove Foundation, a 501(c)(3) philanthropic foundation, and Managing Director of Grove Action Fund, a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization. She led the transition of the foundation’s $150M portfolio to complete mission alignment and managed a programmatically aligned carveout of $18M comprising 21 fund and direct investments.  Prior to her work with the Grove organizations, Rebekah was a management consultant at Deloitte Consulting.  She started her career at The Guttmacher Institute in Washington, D.C., where she analyzed and advocated on reproductive health policy. 

Erika Seth Davies

Erika Seth Davies is the CEO of Rhia Ventures, which aims to transform the U.S. market for sexual, reproductive, and maternal health into a vibrant and equitable one through its impact investing, ecosystem building, corporate engagement, and narrative change work. She is a seasoned leader with more than 20 years of experience in development and fundraising, program design, collaboration and partnership management, and racial equity advocacy. Erika is the Founder of The Racial Equity Asset Lab (The REAL), a venture that centers racial equity in impact investing and works to shift capital to address the persistent racial wealth gap. She previously served as Vice President of External Affairs at ABFE (Association of Black Foundation Executives) where she designed the SMART Investing Initiative, a field-wide effort to encourage foundations to incorporate a racial equity lens in endowment management practices through increased access for racially diverse- and women-owned investment management firms.  

Ronda Dean

Ronda Dean is the chief executive of Afaxys, the largest supplier of contraceptives to clinics in the US public health system. An industry thought leader in women’s reproductive health, Ms. Dean spent her career building resilient, high-performing organizations that adapt and scale to industry demands and opportunities. She has led multiple corporate and not-for-profit start-ups and buildouts including a business unit of a Fortune 100 company, a private foundation, and an industry-pioneering spin-off serving a national customer base. Ms. Dean founded Afaxys in 2008 and currently serves as president and CEO. She led the start-up of this first of-its-kind healthcare enterprise serving a national market of community and public health providers.  Prior to her work at Afaxys, Ms. Dean spent 16 years with Parke-Davis Pharmaceuticals, a division of Warner Lambert, where she served as vice president and general manager of Parke-Davis Women’s Healthcare.  During this time, Ms. Dean alsoserved on the company’s Executive Management Team providing strategic and operational guidance to the U.S. pharmaceutical business.

Stephanie Cohn Rupp

Stephanie Cohn Rupp is the Chief Executive Officer and Partnership Chair at Veris Wealth Partners. She has more than 20 years of global impact investing experience. Throughout her career, Stephanie has focused on building scalable, profitable, sustainable businesses. Based in Denver, she helps lead the firm’s impact wealth management growth strategies, financial performance, and client experience.

Stephanie serves as Board Chair of the US Sustainable Investment Forum (US SIF). She is also a member of the Impact Assets 50 Review Committee, an advisory board member to the Panel of Recognized International Market Experts in Finance (PRIME Finance) based in the Hague, and an advisor to the climate data analytics firm FLINTpro.
