During this workshop, we will cover the following:
1) Fundraising - How do Institutional LPs evaluate fund managers?
We will explore how institutional LPs evaluate fund managers, breaking down our framework, thought processes, and big-picture considerations.
Analyzing our database of over 200 crypto GPs, we will discuss what "differentiation" means from an LP's perspective, particularly in the blockchain space, where many GPs share similar pitches, covering strategy, team, and structuring, while aligning them with the opportunity set.
This workshop is aimed at helping emerging fund managers develop a clearer framework when thinking of how to position and present themselves more effectively to Institutional LPs.
2) Corporate Venture - Structuring & Partnerships
Corporates (as LPs) and partnerships (with VCs) are particularly common in the Blockchain space, however, we have observed that many do not adhere to institutional best practices and are not sustainably structured.
If you are planning to accept corporates as LPs into your fund, or a corporate thinking of building/ partnering/ sponsoring a venture fund, this section is designed for you.
We will cover the best practices and factors to think about when engaging with a corporate if you plan to raise institutional capital.
3) Market Observations/ Q&A
We will share some of our market observations and insights (as LPs)
