For our next session of the **Vancouver Entrepreneurs’ Hurdles & Solutions Circle**, we’ll explore the theme of **Partnerships in Business**.
As entrepreneurs, we face similar challenges and obstacles, but how we navigate these issues can vary based on our experiences and knowledge. In this group, we discuss our current hurdles and share our approaches to overcoming them. This is a space where you can explain the difficulties you're facing and receive valuable insights from fellow entrepreneurs who have encountered similar issues.
Our goal is not to dictate what you should do but to offer a range of perspectives and solutions that have worked for others. For instance, if you're struggling with making your sales team achieve their goals, we’ll discuss how different members set KPIs, manage sales funnels, and use motivation techniques.
In this meeting, we will discuss the various aspects of forming and managing business partnerships. We won’t provide direct solutions but will share and explore experiences on the following topics:
- **Share Distribution:** How do you determine how to give, get, buy, or earn a share of the company?
- **Value Delivery:** What happens if a partner stops delivering value? How do you handle this situation?
- **Different Goals:** How do you manage partnerships when partners have differing business goals?
- **Breakups and Discussions:** What strategies do you use for handling uncomfortable discussions and potential breakups?
- **Financial Losses:** How do you address situations where a partner causes financial losses for the company?
- **Partnership Agreements:** What key elements should be included in partnership agreements to protect all parties involved?
Come prepared to discuss the challenges you’ve faced with partnerships and how you’ve navigated these issues. This session is an opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences and gain insights into effective partnership management.
