Eco Print and Risograph Monotype Workshop - with Jess Crisp
About the Workshop
Join us for a special guest workshop with the brilliant Jess Crisp as we dive into the earthy, inky goodness of eco printing and Risograph monotype. No experience required, just curiosity and creativity needed.
We’ll kick things off with a foraging walk around The Crown area of Inverness, chatting about dye plants, natural colour, and what’s growing around us.
Then we’re back inside to create folded forms like cards, zines, or simple stationery using recycled paper and repurposed Riso ink (yep, that bold, oily magic we love so much).
Using iron-rich baths and steam, we’ll layer petals and leaves over Riso monoprints to create ghostly botanical impressions that cling to the paper in unexpected and beautiful ways. It’s part chemistry, part printmaking, part witchcraft.
You’ll head home with one-of-a-kind pieces that combine nature, ink, and a whole lot of texture.
