Culture X Climate Forum
A joint event focused on the role and importance of culture as an integral part of the climate dialogue.
Culture is an omnipresent force within the context of our lives, regardless of where we are from. Yet, despite its existential importance for all elements of our existence, it has not been awarded sufficient prominence within the context of the climate dialogues. The tides are changing and more space has been opened for culture to be integrated, yet the scale and magnitude of its significance do not match the provided support and recognition.
This event aims to provide the necessary space to highlight the importance of culture and to promote collaboration and knowledge exchange between key stakeholders. During the event, we will explore culture-based climate action from a broad range of perspectives to illustrate the interconnectedness of its various facets. From field-based practitioners, heritage protection experts, and storytellers, to policy-shaping individuals and organizations, we will focus on the central tenets of what is necessary to successfully build sufficient capacity to advance a deeper integration of culture-based climate action into the broad
This event aims to create a deeply inclusive and broadly diverse conversation with the aim of catalyzing exchange and collaboration on future projects.
