How to Make A Bread Mirror with Apt 2 Bread
We are sooo thrilled to have Join Carla Finley of Apt 2 Bread back in the RecCreate Collective studio for another two mornings of turning bread into… mirrors!
In this two hour ‘breadware’ workshop, Carla will walk us through the process of making breadware dough, and shaping it into her iconic breadware mirrors. A morning of playing with your food amongst new friends truly like no other :)
You'll leave with the breadware recipe, and Carla will bake off and glaze each participant's 3in mirrors, shipping them to your home within 4 weeks.
Coffee, tea, (apt 2) bread, and jam will be served <3 See you there!
What can I expect from a project at RecCreate?
Projects are the perfect chance to finally make that thing you saved on tiktok or pinned months ago, where all you have to do is show up! We curate the coolest materials and walk you through it step by step. Naturally, you leave with the sickest me-made piece for yourself or as the sweetest gift. Our emphasis is on craft, self expression and creative empowerment.
Getting Here
The venue is a ~hidden~ art studio located at 20 Grand ave in brooklyn on the 6th floor of a commercial building! When you arrive, buzz #604, push to open and take the elevator up to 6 (push the elevator button until it turns red.!!) Take a right out of the elevator, and a left at the end of the hallway. The door will be the first one on your right.
Cancelation Policy
Tickets are non-refundable/exchange-able! Please double check your calendar. In the event you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend or use our ticket swap sheet. Just send us an email!

Age Restriction & Dogs
All guests must be 18+ to attend and though we love your pups, unfortunately cannot have them in the studio!
