​Tara Sims has way more years of communications experience than she will ever admit to.  A lover of start-ups, innovation, learning, and a semi-closeted nerd, she has a passion for rooting out stories and turning the obscure into the well-known.  She has launched 13 start-ups, with 12 having successful exits. One became the chip technology in every Apple product, others include tap-to-pay using sound, the image sensor used in Apple phones, and an early version of ChatGPT. She has secured coverage for AMD on Jimmy Fallon and was the strategist, co-creator and lead of the most successful event in Qualcomm’s history and a major reason the White House intervened in the hostile takeover of Qualcomm, calling the company a “national treasure.” She has worked for multiple PR agencies, owned her own, and managed small and large comms teams with small and large budgets at small and large companies throughout California.
