MeltingHack is thrilled to present the Health Concierge AI Agent Hackathon, a dynamic event focused on leveraging the power of AI Agents to revolutionize personal health management. Taking place on June 1st, this hackathon offers a unique opportunity for individuals with diverse skills to collaborate and innovate within the healthcare domain. Over the course of just 4 hours, teams will develop an automated AI Agent capable of streamlining various health-related tasks, ultimately aiming to empower individuals to take better control of their well-being with minimal manual effort.
The Health Concierge AI Agent Hackathon is open to everyone, regardless of their technical proficiency or healthcare background. Whether you are a seasoned developer, a healthcare professional, a designer with a passion for user-centric solutions, or simply someone intrigued by the intersection of AI and health, we encourage you to participate. Our goal is to create an inclusive environment where learning, growth, and the exploration of innovative healthcare solutions thrive. 1. Hackathon Overview
Purpose:
Just 4 hours – a concise timeframe to spark meaningful connections and ignite innovative ideas. This hackathon challenges participants to collaborate effectively and produce tangible results within a limited duration. It's ideal for individuals eager to explore new possibilities in AI-driven healthcare without a significant time commitment. With clear objectives, accessible tools, and a tight deadline, we believe groundbreaking health solutions can be conceived and prototyped.

"Health Concierge AI Agent"
Build an AI Agent that automates and simplifies various aspects of personal health management, including:
Automated hospital appointment booking: Intelligent scheduling based on user needs and availability.
Multi-hospital simultaneous availability checking: Real-time comparison of appointment slots across different healthcare providers.
Location and cost comparison: Providing users with options based on proximity, price, and potentially insurance coverage.
Emergency hospital finder: Quickly identifying and providing directions to the nearest appropriate emergency care facility.
Diet tracking: Automated logging and analysis of dietary intake.
Supplement management: Reminders and tracking of supplement consumption.
Health record management: Secure and organized access to personal health information (with a focus on UI/UX and conceptualization, not direct data access due to privacy).

Target Participants: Estimated 60 people
We are seeking passionate individuals with diverse backgrounds and expertise:
Engineers: Experienced in building AI agents, integrating with APIs (simulated or conceptual), developing web/mobile/desktop interfaces, and managing data (simulated or conceptual).
Designers: Visionary thinkers who can design intuitive user interfaces for health-focused AI Agents, including innovative approaches beyond traditional chatbots. Expertise in user-centered design and collaboration with AI technologies is highly valued.
Healthcare Professionals: Doctors, nurses, therapists, nutritionists, etc., who possess domain expertise and can provide valuable insights into user needs and workflows in healthcare.
Data Scientists & Researchers: Individuals with analytical skills to understand health-related data (simulated or publicly available) and contribute to the intelligence of the AI Agent.
Anyone with a passion for AI and unique skills relevant to health and well-being!

Mainly English (Friendly Japanese)
Please be mindful that some participants may not be fluent in either Japanese or English. Let's strive to communicate clearly and kindly.

2.2. How to Build a Team
Teams will be pre-assigned. If you have a teammate preference, please note it during registration.
2.3. Pitch Session
Each team will demonstrate their developed prototype.
No slides needed. 3-minute verbal explanation and demo, please.
3. Rule
Team Formation:
Team Size: Teams may consist of 1 ~ 3 members.
Team Formation: Teams will be assigned before the hackathon.
Pre-formed Teams: Pre-forming teams are allowed.
Team Format: We expect a completely offline event.
Project Guidelines:
Focus: Rather than focusing on business ideas, concentrate on bringing your excitement to life. Your primary goal should be to create a working demo.
Ensuring Fairness: Build a product from the ground up. Push your boundaries in just 4 hours.
Go Bold: Expand your possibilities. Boldly challenge technologies that haven't been implemented yet.
