NEW GHOST x THE RING: Exhibition + In Person Signing
LB PRODUCTIONS in partnership with New England Foundation for The Arts presents "NEW GHOST" in collaboration with leading Chicago Footwork Event, THE RING at the Hairpin Arts Center June 5th!.
This event is a multimedia art exhibition by footwork artist and savant, Litebulb that explores the history and development of Chicago footwork by examining and recreating the foundational footwork move called "The Ghost." with the creators and innovators of the form. In this installation dance piece, which includes photography, lighting design, film projection, original music, exploring the development, impact, and innovation of "the Ghost" as attendees will be able to follow Litebulb as reflects on his upbringing as a dancer in the Windy City from the Southwest Side of Chicago.
In addition to viewing the exhibit with Litebulb, afterward, participants will be able to watch an electrifying five vs. five footwork battle between Prophecy and notable Westside group, House of Wurkz, curated and hosted by prominent Footwork artist P-top from THE ERA.
To celebrate this special event, attendees can grab the limited “New Ghost x Footwork is Now” Tee, signed by Litebulb, designed by cut and sew artists, Stitched By Steelo, and an autographed poster with each purchase.
