About the speakers:
Tyrone Jue is the Director of the San Francisco Environment Department and San Francisco's chief sustainability executive, spearheading the city's mission to achieve net-zero emissions by 2040. Over two decades in local government, he leads a team of 100 professionals developing policies that advance climate protection and environmental justice. The son of immigrants who witnessed environmental challenges firsthand, Jue brings personal passion to his integrated approach bridging climate action, resource efficiency, and community resilience, positioning him as a leading voice in transitioning San Francisco's urban systems to regenerative, circular models.
Tenzin Seldon is the Founder and Managing Partner at Pulse Fund, a venture capital fund investing in high-growth climate companies. Tenzin is a distinguished climate leader who has worked on climate science, investing and technology for nearly two decades. A top graduate of Stanford University, Tenzin was the first Tibetan-American Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford, an Innovative Disruptor at the United Nations, and Forbes Magazine “Most Likely to Impact the Next Century." She also co-founded a net-negative infrastructure company and serves on several boards, including One Earth, Endera, Mast Reforestation, and Stanford Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence.
Patti Carroll leads the Climate Tech CoE program at AWS where she helps startups leverage the power of AWS services and solutions to innovate faster and smarter for climate resilience and sustainable development. Prior to AWS she led R&D innovation programs at The Climate Corporation focused on regenerative agriculture, biodiversity, carbon sequestration, and water stewardship.
Grace Sai is the Cofounder & CEO of Unravel Carbon, a YC and Sequoia-backed sustainability platform and agents ClimateTech. She is a 2X exited founder, a Kauffman Fellow and graduated from both Oxford and INSEAD.
