Circle Meeting 10:Mentorship and Accountability for Business Owners
**Date:** Feb 06, 2025
**Time:** 6pm
**Location:** Coffee Bar Buro, 10 Water St, Vancouver
Join us for our next session of the **Vancouver Entrepreneurs’ Hurdles & Solutions Circle**, where we will focus on **Mentorship and Accountability for Business Owners**.
As entrepreneurs, we face similar challenges and obstacles, but how we navigate these issues can vary based on our experiences and knowledge. In this group, we discuss our current hurdles and share our approaches to overcoming them. This is a space where you can explain the difficulties you're facing and receive valuable insights from fellow entrepreneurs who have encountered similar issues.
Our goal is not to dictate what you should do but to offer a range of perspectives and solutions that have worked for others. For instance, if you're struggling with making your sales team achieve their goals, we’ll discuss how different members set KPIs, manage sales funnels, and use motivation techniques.
In this meeting, we will explore the dynamics of finding and working with a mentor. We won’t provide direct solutions but will discuss and share experiences on the following topics:
- **Finding a Mentor:** How do you find and select a mentor who aligns with your needs and goals?
- **Mentorship Dynamics:** How does the mentorship relationship work, and what should you expect from it?
- **Accountability:** Are you actively seeking accountability from your mentor? How does this influence the relationship?
- **Evaluating Mentors:** What results or qualities should indicate that someone is a suitable mentor for you?
- **Mentor Lifecycle:** What is the typical duration of a mentorship relationship, and how do you manage its lifecycle?
- **KPIs for Mentorship:** What key performance indicators (KPIs) should you set for your work with a mentor?
- **Paid vs. Free Mentorship:** What are the pros and cons of paid versus free mentoring relationships?
Prepare to share your experiences, challenges, and strategies related to mentorship and accountability. This session is an opportunity to discuss what has worked for you and gain insights from others.
**Meeting Guidelines:**
1. **Share Your Challenges:** Discuss the difficulties you face with mentorship and accountability and how you address them.
2. **Respect Confidentiality:** Keep shared information within the group and respect the privacy of others.
3. **Engage Respectfully:** Participate in discussions constructively and with respect for differing viewpoints.
4. **Optional Anonymity:** Feel free to join the discussion without revealing personal or business details if you prefer.
**Please Note:** This is a free event, and we are not selling products, services, or consulting. Our goal is to share knowledge, learn from each other, and build a supportive community.
We look forward to a valuable discussion and learning from each other’s experiences with mentorship and accountability!
