We are honoured to present full-fledged lectures from our distinguished Speakers of Frontier AI Summit:

Prof Alastair Donaldson
Bio: Alastair Donaldson is a Professor in the Dept of Computing at Imperial College London and Director of Research, and leads the FastPL Group, investigating novel techniques and the reasoning capabilities of generative AI systems. He was Founder and Director of GraphicsFuzz Ltd., a start-up specialising in metamorphic testing of graphics drivers, acquired by Google in 2018. He was the recipient of the 2017 BCS Roger Needham Award and an EPSRC Early Career Fellowship, and has published more than 100 articles in the fields of programming languages, formal verification, software testing and parallel programming. Alastair was previously a Visiting Researcher at Microsoft Research Redmond, an EPSRC Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford and a Research Engineer at Codeplay Software Ltd. He holds a PhD from the University of Glasgow, and is a Fellow of the British Computer Society.

Prof Alastair Donaldson's lecture at 16:00pm
Keynote : Program Transformations to Assess the Cyber Security Capabilities of Agentic LLMs

Abstract: Agentic LLMs, where an LLM is provided with access to a running system and operates in a loop where it issues commands to the system and is prompted based on command output. Agentic LLMs have shown recent promise in performing analysis of vulnerable software systems, solving so-called "capture the flag" challenge problems. Questions arise as to whether this capability is due to emergent reasoning capabilities of recent LLMs, or rather simply due to LLMs having been trained on a wide range of capture the flag challenges, and thus being biased towards being able to solve those challenges. Prof Donaldson will present ongoing work with Shahin Honarvar on using program transformations to probe the capability frontier of LLMs for these kinds of tasks.

**************
David Wood

David Wood is the Executive Director of the Longevity Escape Velocity Foundation (LEVF) and Chair of London Futurists. Books he has authored include "The Abolition of Aging", "Vital Foresight", "The Singularity Principles", and "Sustainable Superabundance". Earlier in his career, David was a pioneer of the mobile computing and smartphone industries, co-founding Symbian in 1998.

Keynote: "AI and radical healthy longevity: Three contrasting approaches"

Abstract: AI has the potential to move humanity significantly more quickly towards "Longevity Escape Velocity" - the time when, each year that passes, we can become biologically younger rather than biologically older. However, many obstacles lie on that path. Naive approaches are likely to produce major disappointments. This talk contrasts three separate approaches to trying not only to slow down aging but to actually reverse it.
