Rewriting the Inner Dialogue: A Somatic Writing & Parts Work Experience
We all have an inner voice that shapes our creative expression. Sometimes, it’s expansive, confident, and full of possibility. Other times, it tightens its grip—whispering doubts, second-guessing our words, holding us back just when we’re about to write something authentic.
In this workshop, we won’t try to silence the inner critic. Instead, we’ll meet it with curiosity. Through somatic writing and parts work, we’ll explore how these voices live in the body, how they’ve shaped our creative process, and how we can shift our relationship with them.
Together, we’ll:
Give voice to the inner critic—not to feed it, but to understand it and what it wants for us.
Track its impact in the body and release the patterns that keep us stuck.
Reconnect with the deeper, wiser voice that knows why we create in the first place.
Write from a place of embodied creative authority—without the weight of self-doubt.
These gentle practices will help your confident, creative voice take the lead in your writing and expression.
Rather than battling imposter syndrome through sheer willpower, you’ll learn to recognize and amplify the more compassionate voice within, fostering greater integration and harmony between the contrasting parts of yourself.
Who this is for: This workshop is for writers, creatives, and anyone seeking deeper integration in their creative practice.
Hosted in partnership with Foster—a community of practice for writers—and Prismara, Kelly’s six-month embodied creative mastermind designed for project-based transformation.
