About Event

Join Homeworld Collective for a night of poetry, narrative, art, music, and dancing in honor of Earth Day. We will gather at Uzay Gallery, an art and gathering space in a converted warehouse in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District.

A Salon from 9-10 will guide us through a range of emotions and aesthetics associated with climate change and climate tech. We invite the climate community to contribute performances of poetry, storytelling, or music [click here to participate!]. The Salon will conclude with a combined poetry, music and dance performance that will center us in an action-oriented attitude rooted in love for life on Earth.

At 10 pm, the main room will feature Bay Area funk/hip hop band Oakadelic, and then LIFEcell will DJ to close out the night. A quieter tea room will also be available off to the side. These spaces will facilitate celebration and reflection on Earth, life and community.

A spread of vegan snacks and by-donation bar will be available.

  • Early-bird tickets: $15

  • Standard tickets: $20

  • Door (pending capacity): $25
