🥾Healing Hike @ Ringing Rocks County Park—PHL
Let’s make “music” in nature! 🥾🪨🔨
Join Hike Host Erica and co-host Maggie for a 2.5 mile-ish adventure hike amidst the “ringing rocks” along the Delaware Canal! It’s a mostly easy but transitions to a mildly moderate hike as we scramble the boulders exploring the various sounds of the rocks.
Cool Fact: This 7-acre boulder field is one of the largest in the East Coast. The rocks "ring" due to a complex balance of mineralogy, weathering properties, and micro-climate that combine to produce a distinctly musical sound.
We will leave promptly at 10:45am after intros and our warm-up.
