Letter writing workshop (online) Pause AI Australia

​Following on after the monthly meeting (attend one or both) a structured practical session where we help each other write our next outreach letter.

​After a brief intro, we will break into small groups in breakout rooms.

​If you have never written a letter about AI risk before, this is a great way to get started. If you already have written letters, this workshop will help you take it to the next level.

​We can help you: identify someone to write to, research their background, plan a message, write a personalised letter that reflects your concerns and values, plan a follow-up strategy.

​After the workshop, you can continue working on your letter, or if you are finished you can send it during the workshop.

​Individual letters from regular people are a very effective strategy for changing the attitude of politicians and other influential people. Be a human.
