Avi Thaker brings extensive experience from his tenure as a strategy consultant for hedge funds, where he specialized in building systematic trading strategies. His background includes pioneering work at GSK developing machine learning systems for drug discovery and enhancing Microsoft's cognitive services through advanced data science. Avi holds multiple patents in image search technology and has published influential papers on deep learning and quantitative trading.
Daniel Sonner, is renowned for his expertise in writing highly concurrent and reliable code, notably at Pure Storage, where he earned a patent for integrating Quality of Service Fairness with Replication. His technical acumen extends to bridge playing, where he achieved the prestigious title of World Bridge Federation Junior Online World Champion in 2019. At Harvey Mudd College, Daniel majored in computer science and contributed significantly to the analysis and optimization of the Mudd Investment Fund's portfolio.

Markus Waghubinger is the CEO and Co-Founder of HalloSophia, a hybrid service platform that seamlessly integrates AI assistance with expert advice on demand. He also serves as the Managing Director of finothek GmbH, which operates SophiaPay and owns HalloSophia, Inc., with offices in San Francisco, Linz, and Vienna.
Markus’s mission with HalloSophia is to transform the value of personal human support by automating routine tasks and simple responses. This approach frees up human potential, enabling more meaningful interactions and allowing professionals to focus on more impactful and purposeful work.
Markus studied business management at the University of Applied Sciences Mittweida and economics at the University of Hagen, TU Munich, and Johannes Kepler University of Linz. His extensive banking experience includes over a decade at Austrian banks, including Erste Group Bank and Oberbank, where he worked in customer relationship management, capital markets, and strategic management.
As an entrepreneur, Markus co-founded fundnow, which has become the exclusive online funding tool for Erste Group Bank. His volunteer initiative during the pandemic evolved into HalloSophia, which now serves a diverse range of sectors including SaaS, public institutions, legal and tax agencies, and the financial industry across Europe, the USA, and Africa.
