Peter Lee for Democratic County Central Committee
Please join us for an informative happy hour on Thursday, Februrary 15th from 6-8 pm at One Mission Bay (110 Channel Street - 3rd Floor Game Room) to learn more about the slate of candidates (particularly our friend, Peter Lee AD 17) whom will be running for a seat on the Democratic County Central Committee ("DCCC") as part of the local SF elections taking place on March 5th. The people that we elect to the DCCC on March 5 will influence who gets elected to the School Board and Board of Supervisors this November, so it is an important race. Peter Lee will be in attendance, alongside a few other candidates, to discuss why getting the right people onto the DCCC is so important, and will also be available to answer any questions, including discussing propositions on the March 5th ballot.
Why should we care about the DCCC?
Endorses propositions and candidates on behalf of the Democratic PartyInfluences our elections through phone banking and mailing slate cards with “Democratic Party” stamp of approval to 317,000 registered SF DemocratsActs as a “king-maker” by swinging local elections
Why is the current DCCC out of touch with voters?
Opposed the recall of the former District Attorney, Chesa Boudin
Refused to take a position on the Board of Education recall
14 out of 28 current DCCC members do not support offering Algebra in SFUSD Middle Schools (removed from curriculum in 2014)
*** To fix SF, we must start by winning the DCCC ***
Please RSVP if you can join us!
