Nucleate Baltimore 2024 Activator Demo Day
Nucleate is a non-profit with programming to support the commercialization of projects by academic trainees (PhDs, MBAs, MDs, etc.) in the Baltimore/DC area. In our chapter's history, we have worked with founders such as Taylor Cottle at Aptabridge (Hopkins President Venture Fellowship Recipient), Alexander Trick at Prompt Diagnostics (now in residency with https://www.lifebridgehealth.org/main/bioincubator), and Mitchell Turley at Somnair (recent awardees of >$250k non-dilutive funding) as well as sponsors such as yourself and Blackbird Labs. Across Nucleate's organziation as a whole, we have served over 250 life sciences ventures that have raised over $320 million in venture funding across projects born out of 120 academic institutions.
Please join us to celebrate this year's finalists of the Activator 2024 at our Demo Day Showcase on May 17th from 4 PM at the Carey School of Business. 5 startup teams will pitch their technology to a panel of VCs and industry experts and compete for exciting awards. This event is a fantastic opportunity to meet a host of biotech entrepreneurs, pharma executives and venture capitalists. As an audience member you also have a chance to vote for the best pitch!

This is your chance to connect with like-minded individuals, discover cutting-edge ideas, and support the local startup community.
Nucleate, a nonprofit organization led by trainees with the mission of empowering biotech leaders, is hosting a pitch showcase for our third annual showcase.
Cohort teams and attendees span all major biomedical institutions in the region, with cohort ventures based on pioneering academic work, creating therapies for unmet medical needs and novel therapeutic platforms.

BioLinco - A startup platform for high-throughput cell line development for personalized therapeutics.
Somnair - A novel non-invasive neurostimulation device for the treatmet of sleep disorders.
Periphero - An injectable drug delivery system using radiopharmaceuticals for nerve trauma and neuromuscular dysfunction.
