​As the internet and media continue to evolve into public online spaces, how will the humanity, society and democracy continue to adapt?

​In this challenge, learners have tackled the future of the internet from multiple disciplines. They have explored questions about what history teaches us about the role of media on society and analyzed how writers and artists respond to issues such as mass surveillance and privacy. They have explored how the internet impacts different political systems around the world, as well as reflected on its impact on their own lives.

​🧠 Understanding Minds

​How do our minds, brains, and consciousness work? How can psychology, neuroscience, and philosophy help understand and explain human behavior?

​This challenge aims to foster a comprehensive exploration of human behavior by merging insights from psychology, neuroscience, and philosophy. Learners have delved into questions that have puzzled scholars for centuries: how do our minds and brains function? What is the nature of consciousness? How do these elements combine to shape human behavior?

​🌱 Building Sustainable Futures (Advanced)

​How can we create an exciting and sustainable future for humanity, that is aligned with the sustainable development goals and the flourishing of both people and the planet?

​The world faces numerous interconnected challenges that threaten the wellbeing of both people and the planet. These challenges range from climate change and environmental degradation to social inequality and economic instability. This challenge invites learners to think creatively and develop solutions which align with the SDGs and promote the flourishing of humanity and the environment.
