February Crypto Mondays
Crypto Mondays LA is about education, community, and great conversation. Whether you're a beginner, an OG, or somewhere in between, come grab a drink, great food, meet fellow crypto enthusiasts, and be part of the discussion.
Topic: Bitcoin, Illicit Activity & Misconceptions – Addressing the Critics
As crypto enthusiasts, one of the oldest questions we get—whether from skeptics, the media, or even friends and family—is about Bitcoin and illicit activity. "Isn't crypto mostly used for crime?" "Doesn’t its decentralization enable scams?" These are narratives we hear time and time again. Trump's recent meme coin launches could spur a fresh raft of this questioning
At this meet-up, we’re going to take this critique head-on and empower ourselves with response. We’ll explore what the data actually says, discuss the role of blockchain transparency in tracking crime, and consider the double edged sword of open permission-less technology and the key implications of financial freedom and accountability in crypto.
This is an open forum, so if you hold concerns or criticisms about crypto’s role in illicit finance, bring them forward—we welcome all perspectives and healthy debate.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in February!
