Beyond Molotovs: Book Discussion

​"Beyond Molotovs – Reclaiming Antifascist Futures"

​At this event, the book and project “Beyond Molotovs – A visual handbook of anti-authoritarian strategies” will be presented and put into dialogue with local anti-authoritarian struggles. To this end, we invite representatives of social movements and committed scholars to discuss the following questions, among others, drawing on local experiences and worldwide practices represented in the book and exhibition:

​Which means have proven most promising in the fight against the authoritarian right worldwide and which ones in the Bay Area?

​What practices are capable not only of defending democratic rights and institutions against neo-fascist efforts, but also of forging a just and liberated society beyond the status quo?

​How can we network more effectively and provide mutual support in anti-authoritarian struggles – in the Bay Area and worldwide?
