About Paul Selby, DMC Grants
Approaching two decades in the game, Paul Selby and DMC Grants have helped secure over $20 million in grant funding for Canadian musicians, festivals, record labels, management companies, not-for-profits and more. A co-founder and Lead Grantwriter with DMC Grants, Paul navigates grant applications for his clients, helping them put together the pieces of the puzzle necessary to secure the bag. Supporting a roster of musicians and companies you’re sure to know, Paul has pushed the careers of many artists, aiding them along the way from local start-up acts to globally recognized names.
About Emma Bennett, Factor
Emma Barnett has over 30 years’ experience across multiple spheres of the music economy, including event promotion and as artist consultant in marketing, funding, and strategic planning. As Programs Administrator at FACTOR, Emma assists organizations contributing to the growth and development of the Canadian-owned music industry.
About Jessica Deljouravesh, OAC
The Ontario Arts Council (OAC) provides grants that support a range of arts activities and disciplines to Ontario-based individual artists and arts professionals, ad hoc groups/collectives and organizations. Jessica Deljouravesh has worked at OAC since 2007. During this time, she has administered various granting programs in arts disciplines including, music, theatre, multi and inter-arts and multi-disciplinary, supporting a range of activity including creation, recording, production, touring, market development and organizational development. She has also stepped-in several times to serve as OAC’s Associate Director of Granting.
Jessica holds a master’s degree in music from the University of Ottawa, and has sung and played viola in both jazz and classical styles.
About Paige Guscott, Ontario Creates
Paige Guscott is a music industry professional who has spent the past decade working in cultural sector economic development. She has worked at various advocacy and funding agencies like Music BC, FACTOR, and Ontario Creates, managing programs and improving access to funding. As a Program Coordinator at Ontario Creates, she helps administer funding to music companies across Ontario, and she loves celebrating the impact that the music industry has on culture and the economy.
