Humanizing Data Strategy and book discussion with Tiankai Feng
Details
PyLadies Hamburg & Berlin are excited to bring you face to face with the author Tiankai Feng and his new book "Humanizing Data Strategy", with a forward from Jasmin Herrmann. They will both be talking about the book, how Tiankai got to write the book and of course the topic! Books will also be raffled!
Humanizing Data Strategy: Leading Data with the Head and the Heart, by Tiankai Feng
By combining relentless optimism with a brutally honest reflection on common data strategy mistakes and what it takes to fix them, Tiankai provides CxOs to operational staff, data experts to business users, and students to experienced leaders, a refreshing take on turning advocates into active change-makers to create a sustainable data strategy.
Tiankai is the Data Strategy & Data Governance Lead at Thoughtworks Europe. With 10+ years experiences in Data Analytics, Data Governance and Data Strategy, he found a passion for the human aspect of data: how to collaborate, communicate and be creative around data. He is passionate about making data more understood, approachable and fun through unconventional methods like music and memes.
Jasmin Herrmann is a strategic leader with extensive experience in navigating complex regulatory landscapes across the financial services, retail, and technology industries. She is an expert in aligning IT governance with business objectives, ensuring compliance is a natural, value-adding process rather than a burdensome requirement. Jasmin drives transparency and measurable impact, demonstrating how strategic compliance can enhance business performance. Her leadership in managing global teams and executing transformative initiatives has consistently delivered sustainable growth and operational excellence.
