Day Trip | Peratallada and Aiguablava (June 24th)
Located in the province of Girona, in the Baix Empordà region, you'll find Peratallada—a small medieval village of 500 inhabitants, whose name comes from the moat carved into the surrounding rock.
With a history dating back to the 10th century, it was one of the best-fortified towns in Catalonia, featuring a medieval castle and defensive walls that are still visible today.
Today, it’s considered one of the most charming and best-preserved medieval villages in Spain.
Just 25 minutes from Peratallada is the town of Begur, known for having some of the best beaches on the Costa Brava.
One of these is Aiguablava Bay, set in a unique location between mountains, with sandy beaches and turquoise water that makes it stand out from the rest.
It's an ideal spot for kayaking, paddleboarding, and diving.
