Yes, this is a Side Event in SEABW 2025. No big names or fancy sponsors, but a very tightly knit group of people that help each other.
Have you been REKT in Crypto and somehow still ended up alive? If you are reading this, you probably are. We are here to network, exchange values particularly about how to NOT get rekt in Web3

WHO are the Rektsurvivors?
We are a Web3 community from all walks of life. From first-time crypto buyers, developers, project owners, industry professionals, and investors.
United by the shared experience (or trauma, depending on your stance) of being "Rekt".
"rekt" (pronounced "wrecked") - being "wrecked" or "wiped out" in a game or financial situation.
WHAT makes a Rektsurvivor member?
1) Every Rektsurvivor member has lost upwards of $10K USD in the crypto markets.
2) Members are vetted and known Personally before being brought in to our community (or support group)
3) Down but not out! Every Rektsurvivor member is committed to helping everyone else in the community. Our initial rocket launch might have failed, but dreams of the moon and beyond rest in all our hearts.
WHY join the Rektsurvivor side event?
1) You want to know how a truly organic Web3 community where everyone is an ACTUAL person and not a PFP of a catfishing waifu/husbando wanting you to join their NFT project looks like.
2) You want to hear a series of varied pitches from fun and awesome projects after the speakers have had a wild night out, and STILL make sense!
HOW will the Rektsurvivor side event go?
1) Speakers will speak, make sense (hopefully) and answer questions.
2) We will drink, make merry, and get to know new people.
OPTIONAL:
If you have been Rekt, we will adopt the LLLFG protocol:
1) Lament: Hear your story, offer support and solidarity, this is a safe space.
2) Laugh: Then we will laugh with and at you, the sooner the sting goes away, the faster we can go onto the next part.
3) LFG: You're down but not out, the markets have spanked you. Hard. But now you know, this time is different, LFG!
