About Event

Join us for this webinar with guest expert, Dr. Bruce Hoffman, as we explore a deeper understanding of mitochondrial function and cellular defense. Your mitochondria have long been known as “the powerhouse of the cell” because of their role in producing ATP. But they also have a larger, often overlooked function: protecting the host from danger through a mechanism known as the Cell Danger Response (CDR).

In this lecture, Dr. Hoffman will share how he applies the concept of the CDR in his clinical practice to treat complex, chronic disease using his 7 Stages to Health™ roadmap.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand mitochondrial biochemistry and biophysics in the context of chronic illness—moving beyond the Krebs cycle to include redox balance, light, and electron flow.

  • Recognize the clinical stages of the CDR and map patient symptoms to specific phases (e.g., CDR1 = hyperinflammatory reactivity; CDR3 = freeze state).

  • Learn how mitochondrial heteroplasmy (≥70–80%) contributes to organ-specific disease expression, particularly in neurodegenerative and autoimmune conditions.

  • Reframe chronic fatigue and inflammation as adaptive responses to unresolved cellular threat, rather than dysfunction.

  • Incorporate light therapy, circadian rhythm support, redox-based interventions, and emotional regulation into treatment frameworks—especially for patients trapped in hypometabolic states.

  • Apply Dr. Hoffman’s 7 Stages to Health™ model to link CDR with environmental toxins, energetic imbalances, emotional trauma, belief systems, soul-level imprints, and spiritual disconnection into a coherent diagnostic roadmap.

Speaker Bio:
Dr. Bruce Hoffman, is a renowned integrative medical doctor. He specializes in treating chronic, complex medical conditions and whole body healing - with a focus on restoring mitochondrial health. He specializes in multi-system, multi-symptom illness including MCAS, Mold (CIRS) and many others.

Dr. Hoffman has developed The Seven Stages to Health & Transformation over the last 30 years in his clinical practice, a roadmap he has used to successfully navigate nearly every case that presents itself. The 7 Stages, is at its core, an answer to the principles of “silo” based medicine, recognizing that it's never as simple as one cause, one disease, one symptom, one organ involved.
