About Event

As the SaaS industry matures, all markets become more competitive, and both growth and defensibility become harder. Point solutions are cursed to face frequent attacks from new entrants and adjacent competitors.

A winning strategy to succeed in this scenario was executed by Rippling: by adopting a Multiproduct approach, they offered a suite of interconnected products catering to business needs across multiple company departments of their customers, instead of solving only a specific need.

Rippling raised a $45 million Series A led by Kleiner Perkins six months after launching its product and is now valued at $13 billion. Its Multiproduct strategy was engineered to favor upsell/cross-sell opportunities and increase customer retention due to their widespread penetration across multiple departments of their customers.

William Sorg is a former strategic consultant at BCG, holds a Stanford MBA, and had experience in other tech/financial market companies before joining Rippling’s team to spearhead their Business Operations efforts. William will be sharing his perspective on a successful Multiproduct playbook and the real-life pitfalls and advantages he's experienced at the company most successfully executing this strategy.

The session will be hosted at SaaSholic Founders House in Daly City, and capacity is extremely limited due to physical constraints. If/once approved for the session, please confirm your participation only if you're definitely attending.
