Unconference at AWE

​Want time to go deep for over an hour on a topic that's important to you? Want to host your own open table or conversation this year at AWE?

Join us on Monday before AWE for a whole day of open, focused and deep dive conversations on topics that are valuable and meaningful to you - RSVP here.

​After a few years of hosting conversations and open tables for topical discussions with the XR Guild and Virtual Worlds World Society, we're expanding to an entire day of open and interactive dialogue for the AWE community. This unconference event is free and open to AWE registered attendees. We'll be just upstairs from where you pick up your badge, which you will need to have done to enter.

The event will be in the style of an Open Space unconference where topics will be generated on the spot the morning of the event, starting with an opening and ending with a closing circle. All professional topics related to AR/VR/XR topics are welcome -- If you have a topic to bring into the conversation space you'll have an opportunity at the start of the day on Monday to suggest your conversation topic as anyone is welcome to host an open-ended inquiry and conversation on topics important to you and your work. 

​Please note: This is not a time to sell, but it IS a time to speak with colleagues about the questions and topics that drive you and your success. Some demos are fine but please bring all of your own equipment and plan to plug in from a wall. If you are looking for sales opportunities, we suggest the demo floor and other sections of the conference event.

​Facilitators for this event include Trond Nilsen, Justin Chow and Evo Heyning with the support of the AWE team as part of our commitment to the professional and ethical development of our field and industry.
