[Neo] Watershed & Kalshi founders share their startup journeys

​Join Neo as we chat with Avi Itskovich (Watershed co-founder) and Luana Lopes Lara (Kalshi co-founder) about their startup journeys.

​Avi is the co-founder of Watershed, a startup enabling deep decarbonization for businesses. Before Watershed, Avi spent 5 years at Stripe. He did everything from building the early fraud infrastructure to building some of the most widely used tools & frameworks at Stripe. Avi studied Math & Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. Outside of work you can find find him on a trail run, backcountry skiing or reading a good book.

​Luana is a founder at Kalshi, a financial exchange for trading on the outcome of events. Luana graduated from MIT, where she studied Computer Science and did her Masters in Reinforcement Learning. Luana’s experience lies at the intersection of finance and tech: she has previously worked at Bridgewater, and Citadel. Before college, Luana was a professional ballet dancer and studied in the Bolshoi Ballet School.
