Are you ready to add some rhythm and melody to your improv scenes? Join Renate and Nick for this two-Sunday workshop to get introduced to and inspired by musical improv!
🎶 Over this two Sunday (June 1st and June 8th) workshop we will learn the basics of incorporating music and songs into your performances, helping you discover new ways to heighten your scenes and have fun while doing it.
On Sunday, June 1 : Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of how to improvise songs including common and simple song structures that help creating catchy tunes on the go.
On Sunday, June 8 : We will continue exploring getting into songs from improvised scenes and play together creating bunch of songs and tunes that will stick with us like good "Ohrwurm" (German word for a catchy tune :) ).
This workshop is for experienced improvisers. Little to no musical experience? No worries! This session is about curiosity, creativity, and having fun exploring music without the pressure of being a trained musician. Come ready to play, sing and discover something new about yourself in the process.
This workshop takes place over two consecutive Sundays - June 1st and June 8th - each time from 10:00 to 17:00, with one hour lunch break at 12:30.
