About Event

Hey sis! Glad to see you here.

Starting this month, we invite you to join us on Saturdays at 10:00am EST for our first-ever perinatal support group series, Candlelit Coves, to create space for discussion about the ebbs and flows, and challenges faced by Black mothers, sharing tips to manage emotions, and promote strategies to enhance health outcomes.

This session is tailored for new moms and parents in search for support while postpartum and recovering from birth. You will receive an email from our Head Coach and Chief Operations Officer Clarké Lunara our COO with an intro to your group facilitator, location and access to our mobile app.

Meet Coach Amani Smith:

I'm Amani Smith, a proud mother of three and a devoted military spouse, celebrating nine years of marriage. El Paso, Texas, is my current home base. I've learned firsthand the challenges and triumphs of military life from childhood. With a degree in psychology, I'm deeply committed to supporting and guiding others through life's complexities. By day, I serve as a program manager, but my passion for helping others extends far beyond the office. As a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), I advocate tirelessly for vulnerable individuals, driven by empathy and compassion.

At Candlelit Care, I'm inspired by the belief in the power of community. I'm dedicated to cultivating tribes and support networks for those facing life's challenges, drawing from my own experiences to create spaces where empathy and solidarity thrive. My journey is fueled by a deep understanding of human psychology and a firsthand familiarity with the trials of military life. Driven by a profound commitment to service, I empower individuals to navigate life's transitions with resilience and grace. Through my work, I aim not only to provide assistance but also to instill hope and a sense of belonging within our community. For me, building a brighter, more compassionate world isn't just a mission—it's a way of life. It's characterized by empathy, understanding, and unwavering dedication to the well-being of others.

At Candlelit Care, whether you’re pregnant or postpartum for the 1st time or 5th time, we got you. Whether your baby or babies are 2 days old or 2 years old, you belong. Postpartum extends far beyond 6, 8 and 12 weeks (some of us dare say you're postpartum forever regardless of delivery outcome) and we want to create a space where you can arrive in authentic, honest, real motherhood alongside our community.

Warmly,

✌🏾Candlelit Care Team
