Celebrate the Ride for Equity at Newlab
Join us at Newlab Brooklyn on July 2nd from 6-8 PM for a special celebration honoring the incredible journey of the Ride for Equity — a transformative 1600+ mile bike ride from Black Wall Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Wall Street in New York City.
Organized by Black Leaders Detroit, the Ride for Equity raises awareness and funds to support Black entrepreneurs, driving economic equity and empowerment. After 35 days of impactful riding, we’re coming together to celebrate the resilience, determination, and progress symbolized by this powerful movement.
What to Expect:
🎉 Drinks and Light Bites – Enjoy refreshments as we toast to the riders and their mission. 🎶 Music – Celebrate with great music and good vibes. 🗣️ Stories from the Ride – Hear firsthand reflections from the journey and the impact it’s driving. 🌍 Community and Connection – Connect with like-minded supporters and change-makers.

As part of our cycling journey into New York, we’ll be departing from the Hyatt Regency Morristown (3 Speedwell Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960) at 7:00 a.m sharp!
