Poetry & Spoken Word Open Mic [Online]
Welcome to our first ever online Poetry & Spoken Word event. We're so excited to sit down and connect as a community, creating the space for creatives, artists, writers and divine humans to share their poetry and spoken word pieces.
We'll come together for an hour on Zoom, so bring along a nice mug of tea, cacao or hot chocolate and whatever helps you feel cosy, and we'll start together with a brief opening meditation for 5-10 minutes and sharing a little on the intention for the session, then we'll open the floor where you can raise your hands and share your piece, depending on the numbers, everyone will have time to share and we'll open the space for community sharing after each piece of work so we can celebrate our unique and beautiful gifts. Everything and everybody is welcome here, but any racial, homophobic, or hate speech will not be tolerated in this space.
Your Hosts:
