About Event

Note: This event will be free and open to the public!

The ancient practices found at the core of Zen Buddhism have never been more relevant than they are in today's work world.  The simple, practical and self-less rituals, practices and traditions go to the heart of answering the most common questions of today's worker: How can I deal with an impossible workload?  Does anxiety have to be such a present force in my life? Why is focus so elusive? Is being an achiever and being a kind, compassionate person, at odds with each other?

This class will delve into the Zen practices that go to the heart of these questions and many others commonly faced today

Event schedule:

  • 7:00PM 7:30PM - Check in to the event. I (Thenuka) will be there to greet you.

  • 7:45PM - The talk will start.

  • 8:30PM - The talk finishes and we move into Q&A.

  • 9:00PM - Q&A finishes

This event will be held at The Commons, at 540 Laguna St in Hayes Valley.
