Funding Beyond the Federal Cuts: Innovative Funding Paths for Researchers
Adapting to Evolving Research Funding Landscapes
In today’s challenging environment of reduced federal research funding, faculty and researchers at NYU have unparalleled opportunities to leverage innovative funding mechanisms that support not only research but also technology commercialization.
This talk will highlight key programs such as NSF I-Corps, Translation to Practice (TTP) grants, and SBIR/STTR funding, demonstrating how these resources facilitate customer discovery, market validation, and early-stage startup development. By connecting research excellence with commercialization training, mentorship, and ecosystem resources, this session empowers NYU innovators to diversify funding, accelerate commercialization, and maximize the impact of their work.
We invite Faculty, PhD candidates, Post-docs & Staff affiliated with NYU research, to a virtual workshop led by the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute.
