About Event

San Francisco International Airport's (SFO) goal for Zero Waste is to achieve a 90% waste diversion rate by 2030. At SFO we use a variety of methods to help us reduce and divert waste from landfill. Join this tour to learn more about our various zero-waste initiatives past, present, and future!

Check out SFO's sustainability website to learn more. Join us for a landside pre-security, walking tour around SFO campus to see first hand sustainability in action guided by SFO sustainability staff. We will start with a brief overview and then take AirTrain to the SFO Terminal Complex. Please wear comfortable walking shoes (1 mile walk).

EVENT REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. Accepted applicants will be notified by Monday, April 7th. Priority will be given to individuals in waste management or managing waste reduction/prevention programs.
