Blended Finance: Catalytic Capital in Action
Join Spring, Thrive Impact Fund, and the Ontario Trillium Foundation for a conversation with Chris Lee, Director of Programming at Inspirit Foundation.
How can catalytic capital preserve vital cultural infrastructure in Canada?
In February 2025, Inspirit Foundation, with support from the City of Toronto, made a groundbreaking move to purchase two units to preserve affordable cultural spaces. These units were transferred to the Community & Cultural Spaces Trust, marking the first acquisition by a cultural land trust in Canada.
Join us for a dynamic conversation on how catalytic capital enabled this milestone. Kristi Fairholm Mader (Thrive Impact Fund) will moderate a dialogue with Chris Lee, Director of Programming at Inspirit Foundation, to unpack the story, the financing process, and the transformative role of catalytic capital.
