About Event

Activate is hosting a networking reception in partnership with 9Zero, Collaborative Fund, JLL, and Breakthrough Energy Fellows. During SF Climate Week, this event will convene individuals from the investor, corporate, government, and philanthropy community at 9Zero Building to meet Activate Fellows and thought leaders in the climate tech industry.

Additionally, we'll host a panel focusing on the built environment, a critical front in the fight against carbon emissions. Hosted by Activate Chief Fellowship Officer Brenna Teigler, this panel brings together leading minds in clean tech, including Mary Ann Piette, Associate Lab Director, Energy Technologies Area at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Brimstone CEO Cody Finke, and Drew Lilley, CEO & Co-founder at Calion Technologies. This session aims to shed light on how startups can play a pivotal role in transforming buildings from significant carbon contributors to critical assets in our global sustainability efforts while navigating the current economic challenges.

About Activate: Founded in 2015, Activate empowers scientists to reinvent the world by launching startups to address climate change and other global challenges.
