Calling all coders, writers, problem-solvers, and everyone in between!
AI is changing the way we learn – but isn’t it making us lose critical thinking skills? At Minerva Hacks, we’re challenging you to create AI tools that for the better, redesigning teaching to have the learner at its center. Our purpose? To build and reflect on AI tools that make us focus better, memorize for longer, and think critically.
You can join as either coder or writer:
Coding Challenge #1: Better Memorization with #scienceoflearning Prizes:
Best project - monetary prize of $250
Top 2 teams - private in-depth consultation with Everyone AI on how to scale your hackathon project into a monetizable product
Coding Challenge #2: AI in-class assistant for learning differences Prizes:
Best project - monetary prize of $250
Top 2 teams - evaluation and consultation with Lighthouse AI for potential funding or monetization of the hackathon project under their business
Essay Contest - What happens when AI becomes the teacher, the grader, or the information controller in education? Prizes:
Best Essay - monetary prize of $250
Company pick – feature essay excerpts or the entire essay on the Common Sense Media newsletter
