Stitchcraft: Spring Flowers
Celebrate the return of spring with this intermediate embroidery workshop!
In this workshop, Carly Sorenson will teach students the stem stitch, satin stitch, and french knot. These stitches are crucial to the depiction of natural forms such as twisting vines, satiny petals, and textured stamens or seeds, so we will practice them by creating a simple floral design.
Students should already be familiar with basic techniques such as the backstitch and running stitch before signing up.
