Build It - Minecraft

​Build It is a gathering for tech enthusiasts and builders, a collaborative space where like-minded techies unite to create and build cool shit together.

​We have hosted all kinds of Build It hackathons this year with different topics like robotics, apps, GenAI, and so on. This time we are trying something entertaining. Why? Just for fun and memes.

​Usually, in Build It hackathons, people build something new or continue working on their previous projects, and then showcase them to others. We are doing exactly the same thing, but this time it’s happening on a Minecraft server.

​Everybody will have their own square where they will build something in creative mode during the day. Demos will take place on the server, where we will fly around in spectator mode and check out what everyone built. We don’t usually compete against each other in Build It events, but this time it will be a competition and there will be a prize.

​Note! You will need:

• ​Your own Minecraft account

• ​Laptop/PC

​We have some extra monitors at Startup Sauna for those in need. We recommend bringing your own mouse and keyboard.

​Schedule:

• ​12:00 - 13:00 Intro

• ​13:00 - 19:00 Building

• ​19:00 - 20:00 Demos

​Free food will be available around 16:00, and drinks (including alcohol) will be provided!
