Repats.nz || April gathering (virtual)
tl;dr: repats = "expats who repatriate" — that is, move home again after living/working/building businesses abroad for some material number of years 🇳🇿⬅️
What's the plan?
— every month, we’ll host a zoom call & invite all the new people who’ve come on our radar, or been referred in over the past month or so. First one is happening 9am March 4th NZT (this coming Tuesday).
— on each call, i'll get a couple of folks who already made the move back home to jump on screen and talk about their experiences, share tips & tricks... but keep it casual, free-form so others can grab the mic too (think “semi-curated open mic night”)
— won't be available to watch after, BUT i'll run an AI transcript/summary generator in the background and share a google doc around - attendees can add/edit = cumulative “cheat sheet” (and if you miss this one, just join next month!)
— we'll put everyone who joined the Zoom call in a WhatsApp so you can share tips and tricks, job opportunities and connect after the fact.
— when you land back home, make sure you join us for a Something New ✨ dinner in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch, and join the Blackbird Talent Network!
