PNW Climate Week Writing Hour ⏳
🌍 Let's keep the conversations going and the community-building momentum strong
💻 This workshop is designed to connect people across regions—whether you're attending PNW Climate Week in person or joining virtually.
📖 The Pacific Northwest Climate Week organizers have committed to helping amplify our writing through their platform (if you want; this is not mandatory).
🫶 We create a no-pressure, non-recorded welcoming space for all.
🌱 Join to build visibility, community, and shared understanding within the climate movement.
Why join?
📊 A recent Yale study found that messages about climate progress resonate across audiences—including those who might not typically engage with climate action.
📝 One of the best tools we have for this? Blogging.
⏳ People tend to think of blogging as a marketing tactic. But it's so much more. It’s how scientists, engineers, and leaders have shared knowledge and influenced change for decades.
Session format
📝 Introduction, prompt, and outline (10 min)
✍️ Open-gym style freewriting (20 min)
🔊 Read out loud (optional) (15 min)
🎯 Wrap-up and next steps (5 min)
