We're turning the MRT into Thailand's most exciting reading club - a moving library where stories travel as fast as you do. Flip pages while Bangkok flashes by your window, meet fellow readers, and discover new neighborhoods of Bangkok. Reading on the go has never been this fun!

​🗓️Date: Saturday, May 17th, 2025
⏰Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
🏢Meeting Point: Meet at Silom Edge, 2nd Floor at the connection bridge to MRT
👥Capacity: 30 participants only
🎟️Tickets on sale: 60 thb (MRT one way ticket and a cute bookmark!)

​Program Schedule

​3:00 PM: Meet at Silom Edge, 2nd Floor at the connection bridge to MRT 

​3:15 PM: Brief introduction and event guidelines.

​3:30 PM: Board the MRT at Silom station (last car of the train)

​3:30-4:00 PM: Reading session in silence while traveling to Lak Song station

​4:00-5:00 PM: Offline social books session at Eastern Glass Cafe, 6 mins walk from MRT Lak Song.

​5:00-6:00 PM: Social/Round Up/reading session on the train home

​What to Expect

• ​A unique reading experience in motion through MRT underground and sky ride.

• ​Make meaningful connections with fellow books lovers

• ​Discover different neighborhoods in Bangkok.

• ​Casual discussion about your reading during the social gathering at a cafe

• ​Professional photography from one of our reading club members to mark the occasion.

​Community Guidelines

• ​Strictly no phone usage during the session.

• ​Bring physical or digital books of your choice

• ​Arrive promptly at the meeting point

• ​We'll travel in the last car of the train to minimize disruption to other passengers

• ​Maintain a respectful reading atmosphere

• ​Bring: Kindness, respect, manners, creativity, your best self, smile, curiosity, and an open mind.

• ​It can be noisy on the train so having headphones on can we handy.
